Fixed Prices for Family Law
After talking with your lawyer, you will receive a fixed fee quote for the work that needs to be done.
The fixed fee sets out the work agreed on and it includes all meetings, emails and telephone calls to get the job done. There is no hourly rate.
Let's take a simple example
Fixed price Application for Divorce
All work to obtain your Divorce Order, including emails, telephone calls and letters with you, your ex-partner and the Court as follows:
A video meeting with you.
Prepare your Application.
Witness you sign the Application (by video)
Lodge the Application and get a Court hearing date.
Serve your ex-partner with the Application by post.
Prepare Service Documents and lodge them with the Court.
Attend the Divorce hearing (if required).
Send you a copy of the Divorce Order.
